There are endless selection of trims you can select from. Shades of Excellence will work with you to help you decide if the trim should compliment particular decor elements in your room, the lamp base or maintain a neutral look by selecting a trim that blends with your choice of outside covering.
Below you will see samples of just a few types of trims. One of Shades of Excellence's signature trim is the twisted soutache and/or rope trims seen below.

Designing Your Lampshade
To ensure the best outcome of your new lampshade there are several decisions to be made before any creating begins.

Selecting The Appropriate Fixture
There are a variety of fixtures from which you can choose depending on the hardware on the lamp base. Below are the options.
Washer Top - sets on a harp and is secured with a finial
Clip top - clips over a standard size light bulb
Torpedo/Candleabara clip top - clips over a tapered bulb
Uno Bridge - screws right to the socket and allowing the lampshade to hang down from a bridge arm.
Chimney top - slips down over a glass chimney on an electrified hurricane lamp.
